Jacque been working in the field of Behaviour Therapy for over six years, supporting children aged 2 to 13 with a range of diagnoses including autism and developmental delays. Jacque has completed a bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis. Jacque is an NDIS registered Behaviour Support Practitioner and a Certified Behavior Analyst.
Jacque has worked closely with families to manage behaviours such aggression, self-injury, elopement, difficulty with task demands, and communication challenges. Jacque is passionate about helping families and has always been driven by a strong desire to support others in meaningful ways and help create positive changes in their daily lives. When Jacque started working in this field, it felt like a perfect fit because it gave her a chance to not just help individuals, but to support their family as well.
The achievements her clients make every day, whether it’s through improvements in communication or gaining independence with self-help skills, are also achievements of their families. Jacque sees the child as more than just their behaviour or diagnosis and makes sure she is adjusting strategies to meet them where they are at.
